One Whole Year Now

I have been showing with MEPSA for one whole year now starting with the Vintage Special. And WOW! I have come a long way!

I had started out using a tie-dye-ish backdrop, then graduated to using the back fence with a wooden plank for footing, being relieved that winter 'n' snow is the best blending tool for the footing to the background, to using my arena panel, to Bear Lake, and then actually buying model train "grass" paper to use as footing.

The few models I had re-entered in this year's Vintage Special were:

Rosie Sunshine

Big difference (minus the lack of scale tall grass that I still need to make). One thing I've noticed about Hartlands, is the fact that they're of a vintage sculpt and therefore their features aren't competitive enough. But Rosie Sunshine have still made it to the top ten placings in both MEPSA and other model horse shows.
Last Year:
Gender: Draft/Pony/Carriage/Other Foal: 8th Place
Collectability: Other Plastic: 9th Place
This Year:
Gender: Light/Sport/Spanish/Gaited Foals: 7th Place

White Cherry

Oh! Much, much better! White Cherry didn't place either times, which is OK. She is a bit scuffed up in a few places. But, I still enter her anyways.

Chip

So much brighter! I hope this photo does better than his two previous ones. He apparently doesn't show as well as his best buddy, Strawberry.
This year:
Breed: Light/Sport/Spanish/Gaited Foal: 9th Place
